The characters are all very charming and the heroine Fuka has a surprising amount of personality herself unlike most otome game heroines. If there is a misunderstanding or a fight she won't sit around moping and feel sorry for herself like they usual do, instead she says 'I need to go talk to them and sort this out!'. She speaks her mind and is a very honest which I liked a lot.
Unlike most visual novel games Ozmafia is split up into smaller scenes. Often you will be reading a scenario only to have it suddenly stop and change scene to the next day without any conclusion. This is because Ozmafia is set up to be re-played from the start every time you're going for a different ending. When you play a route a second time you will unlock a ton (and I really mean a ton) of new scenes that explains what happened while also giving you an insight to what the others characters were thinking and feeling at the time. It might sound tedious but it really adds to the replayability instead of just agonizing skipping to the choices.
I also wanted to adress one thing as this game for some reason has gained reputation of having a lot of NTR. While there is a switch route mechanic between the three main guys but it never ends with any bad feelings between them. The four of them stays friends no matter what happens and in most cases the person you were switching from even encourages you to do it! In the same way that you wouldn't stay in a unhappy relationship in real life the game offers you the choice to either keep trying to patch things up or end it. Don't listen to people comparing it to Diablolik Lovers etc - its not even close to being that bad.
Overall I had a great time with the game and I hope MangaGamer translates more otome games in the future!
